1. Local Processing Principle (No Processing Servers)

VectisPDF has been developed following the Privacy-by-Design principle. Document operations such as reading, rendering, text editing, OCR, and PDF exporting are executed locally in your browser using client-side JavaScript and WebAssembly (WASM) technologies.

• No upload required for processing: Your PDF documents, images, and text are processed in the running browser session and are not intentionally transmitted to remote servers or external document databases for processing.
• No Accounts or Registration: We do not collect names, emails, passwords, financial data, or personal identifiers to use the software.
• Session-based processing: VectisPDF does not retain a remote copy of the document. When the session or tab is closed, the data is no longer available to the application, subject to the browser and device’s internal behavior and settings.

2. Cookies and Telemetry Policy

This application does not use advertising tracking cookies, user profiling, or invasive telemetry. We do not sell, trade, or transfer any information of any kind to third parties.

3. Disclaimer (AS IS Clause)

The software is distributed "as is" (AS IS), without implicit or explicit warranties. Due to the multiplicity of standards and internal codifications of PDF files, the user is solely responsible for reviewing and validating the accuracy of their edited documents before any professional, administrative, or legal use.
